The Hostel is located in Aldeia das Sarnadas, 5 km from Alte and 5 km from Benafim, where Serra do Caldeirão begins but close to everything.

Next to the Hostel there is the café “Al'Cafe” and a typical restaurant with regional food “O Rosmaninho” where you can taste the mountain cuisine



In this village you can also visit Casa do Esparto located in the old primary school, recently rehabilitated and which has once again acquired training skills in this area. Here, pieces made in esparto wood by artisans from the village are on display, who are recovering this art.

S. Bartolomeu de Messines is 10 minutes away and where there is the CP station with access to Intercidades.


The villages of Alte and Benafim are 5 minutes away and have restaurants, cafes, leisure facilities, shops, supermarkets, pharmacies and CTT.


Via Algarviana, on the Salir-Alte section, passes close to our Hostel.



We are located in an area where there are lots of trails for walking or mountain biking. We are also close to the protected area of Rocha da Pena and Fonte da Benémola

Loulé is 20 minutes away and has a cultural history rich in monuments and very active local shops, typical restaurants, bars and cinema theater and many events throughout the year.
